Historical 30th & Fern is located in the quaint and hip urban neighborhood of South Park and is composed of three separate yet interconnected buildings, all of which are Designated Historical Landmarks in the City of San Diego.  The southern-most building is known as Fire Station #9 and was originally built in 1912.  It is the oldest standing fire station in the City of San Diego.  The central building was built in 1924 and is known as the Rose Grocery Building.  The northern building was built in 1914 and is known as the Burlingame Garage, one of the earliest automobile garages in South Park.  After years of neglect, the buildings were transformed and repurposed with new and restored windows, enhanced building entries, a vibrant paint scheme, and a new floor plan that connected the three structures and created functional tenant spaces, shared restrooms, and upgraded accessibility features.  Current tenants include retail shops, salons, a beer tasting room, wine bar, offices, galleries, and a fitness center.
