STUDIO VARONE ARCHITECTURE, Inc. is an award-winning, full service architectural firm located in San Diego, California.  We provide architecture, interior design, and site planning services.  Our firm is committed to enhancing the built environment and people's lives through excellence in design.  Our goal for every project is to create a beautiful and functional building that is perfectly suited to its unique site and owner's needs.  We work to exceed our client's expectations by providing direct principal involvement throughout all phases of the process, from the first concept sketch to the final building inspection. 

PRINCIPALS

STUDIO VARONE ARCHITECTURE, Inc. was founded by the husband and wife team of Chris Varone and Sasha Varone.  Both principals received their Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and studied abroad in Europe, researching the best of both classical and modern architecture.  They began their careers in Chicago, Illinois, where they worked on a wide range of projects, from luxury skyscrapers to low-income housing.  After one too many winters, they relocated to sunny San Diego in 2003.  Prior to founding STUDIO VARONE ARCHITECTURE, Inc., Chris and Sasha had the privilege of working as Project Architects and Project Managers for several internationally recognized and award-winning architecture firms, both in Chicago and San Diego.  Their portfolio in Southern California includes custom homes, multi-family residential, commercial, office and mixed-use projects.  Together, they have over 50 years combined experience designing, detailing and managing successful projects. 

Both principals are licensed architects; members of The American Institute of Architects (AIA); and are certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).  STUDIO VARONE ARCHITECTURE, Inc. holds licenses to practice architecture in California, Idaho, Arizona and Illinois.
