Studio Varone Architecture worked closely with the owners of the Briand Residence to provide them with various design options for the remodel and expansion of their home.  Two of these options proposed the addition of a second story, which would allow the master bedroom to enjoy expansive sunset views to the west.  All of the options were designed to provide the homeowners with an open-concept kitchen / living / dining area, professional-grade home gym, additional child's bedroom, and a large master suite, including a new master bathroom and walk-in closet.  A crisp palette of stucco and wood creates a modern yet "warm" appearance from the street.  A new awning and stone entry element enhances the curb appeal and welcomes visitors.
