The design for the Cresta Residence was inspired by the owners' love of Balinese art and culture.  Most of the interior finishes and furniture were imported directly from Bali, including the reclaimed teak floors, stone tile inlays, and carved wood accents.  In addition to being a showcase for the owners' art collection, the home also needed to be family friendly.  The first floor provides an open layout which accommodates a large kitchen, breakfast nook, sitting area, formal living and dining rooms as well as a separate playroom.  The second floor contains a large master suite and three separate kids' bedrooms, each with an attached bath.  Generously sized light wells bring natural light and ventilation to the full basement which contains a yoga studio, sauna, guest bedroom, wine cellar, and entertainment spaces.  All three levels are provided with direct access to the tropical backyard, to enjoy a swim in the beautifully tiled pool or to relax on the heated patio.  Additional entertaining space can be found on the roof deck which enjoys panoramic ocean views.
