The Heritage on Ivanhoe project brought to life a unique urban infill site within walking distance to the village of La Jolla.  The project consists of four duplexes, three single-family homes, and three remodeled existing single-family homes of historical significance, for a total of fourteen units.  The project team worked closely with local historic preservation groups to insure that the design of the new development complimented the existing structures, while at the same time providing for the modern needs of the future owners.  Each unit has its own roof deck, some of which enjoy partial ocean views, and a private two-car garage.  Sustainable features include rooftop solar panels, permeable paving, tankless water heaters, low VOC paint, and fiber cement siding.  Picket fences and decorative trellises enhance the charming character of the site.
