The Ocean Crest Residence was designed to maximize the ocean views from its coastal site.  The public living spaces were placed on the second floor for the best vantage point.  An arched roof composed of carefully spaced glulam wood beams visually expands the space, provides a sense of warmth, and creates a unique rhythmic pattern as they intersect with the side exterior walls.  Curved interior walls create a sense of movement and continuum throughout all three levels of the residence.
