The Ondas Residence is sited on a gentle hill which provides the owners with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean.  The existing ranch-style house was demolished to make way for a modern 2-story home designed to maximize ocean views from the main living spaces.  On the ground floor, travertine tiles flow from the interior living spaces to the exterior patio and pool deck beyond.  Large sliding doors disappear into pockets to open the double-height living room to the courtyard, further enhancing the experience of indoor/outdoor living.  A large chimney clad in basalt stone separates the living room from the dining room and provides a distinct vertical element to the façade.  The master suite features a generous master bathroom complete with an ocean-view shower, a soaking tub, and sauna, as well as large walk-in closet and separate office space.  A dramatic glass and steel staircase connects the two living levels and leads to the bridge element that connects both halves of the second floor plan.  The kids' bedrooms are arranged around a secondary family room which provides a great place for T.V. watching and playing games.  A series of balconies and roof decks provide the perfect place for entertaining and watching the sun set.
