A design competition was sponsored to create ideas to take advantage of a prime piece of real estate known as Wolf Point, which is located on the Chicago River in the center of the city.  The proposed tower was triangular in shape in order to provide panoramic views of the Chicago River, Lake Michigan, and surrounding cityscape.  The mixed-use program included office, hotel, and residential functions, as well as a proposal for a waterfront plaza and marina.  Had it been built, the tower would have been an iconic and significant addition to the Chicago skyline.
